The ACORN System 1 was a 1979 8-bit microcomputer by ACORN Computers. It had a MOS 6502 CPU, RAM, ROM, a keypad, a LED display, and a cassette interface. It was for hobbyists and ran a monitor program. It was designed by Sophie Wilson and led to the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron.
